Lines have reopened between Lewisham and Hayes following the earlier incident where a person was hit by a train. The emergency services have safely completed their work but trains may still be delayed by up to 30 minutes or cancelled whilst service recovers.
Disruption is expected until 23:45.
What's happened?
Emergency services have attended and the person is in their care. Current has now been switched back on and trains are able to move again.
How does this affect my journey?
Trains are able to move again and the Hayes line has re-opened. Trains may still be delayed, altered or cancelled while we work to resume normal service.
What do I need to do?
Please allow extra time to complete your journey and check before you travel. You can use your ticket at no extra cost on London Buses between Lewisham, Hayes and Orpington.

Urgent repairs are required to be carried out between Margate and Ramsgate on Sunday 19 May, closing the line all day. Some late night services are also affected on Saturday 18 May.
Saturday 18 May
The following trains will be revised:
23:37 St Pancras International to Margate will terminate at Ramsgate. A replacement bus will run from Ramsgate to Margate.
23:41 Victoria to Ramsgate will terminate at Faversham. A replacement bus will run from Faversham to Ramsgate.
00:10 Victoria to Ramsgate will terminate at Faversham. A replacement bus will run from Faversham to Ramsgate
Sunday 19 May
Until 09:00:
Buses will replace trains between Herne Bay and Ramsgate.
Trains between Margate and St Pancras via Ashford will run between Ramsgate and St Pancras.
Trains between Ramsgate and St Pancras/Victoria via Faversham will run between Herne Bay, Faversham and St Pancras/Victoria.
From 09:00 to 22:00
Buses will replace trains between Margate and Ramsgate.
Trains between Margate and St Pancras via Ashford will run between Ramsgate and St Pancras.
Trains between Ramsgate and St Pancras/Victoria via Faversham will run between Margate and St Pancras/Victoria.
After 22:00
Buses will replace trains between Herne Bay and Ramsgate.
Trains between Margate and St Pancras via Ashford will run between Ramsgate and St Pancras.
Trains between Ramsgate and St Pancras/Victoria via Faversham will run between Herne Bay, Faversham and St Pancras/Victoria.

Engineering work is taking place between Gravesend and Higham, closing all lines.
Southeastern:
Strood will only be served by trains between Paddock Wood and Strood.
- Highspeed via Gravesend: Trains between London St Pancras International and Ramsgate via Gravesend will only run between London St Pancras International and Gravesend.
Accessible rail replacement buses will run between:
- Gravesend and Gillingham calling at all stations except Higham
- Gravesend and Strood calling at Higham (minibus)
If you are travelling to or from stations between Rainham and Ramsgate / Dover please change between trains and the accessible buses at Chatham for the fastest journey.
Thameslink:
No Thameslink services will run between Gravesend and Strood. Your tickets will be accepted on Southeastern Rail Replacement Buses between Gravesend and Strood.

Engineering work is taking place between Folkestone West and Dover Priory / Ramsgate, closing various lines on Friday evening until early Saturday morning.
As a result:
Friday:
- The 22:59 London Charing Cross to Dover Priory will be replaced by an accessible bus between Folkestone West and Dover Priory.
- The 23:07 London St Pancras to Ramsgate via Dover Priory will be replaced by an accessible bus between Folkestone West and Ramsgate
Saturday:
- The 01:08 Ashford International to Dover Priory will be replaced by an accessible bus between Folkestone West and Dover Priory.

Routes affected:
Between London St Pancras International and Ramsgate via Dover Priory, and also between London Charing Cross and Dover Priory
Network Rail monitoring equipment has detected ground movement affecting the line between Dover Priory and Folkestone following the wettest February for 200 years. Regular checks are being carried out on the line and a temporary speed restriction is in place. Southeastern have made some limited service changes to provide you with a reliable and robust train service while Network Rail assess the work needed. Trains will be amended as follows:
Highspeed via Ashford International: Trains from Ramsgate to London St Pancras International via Dover Priory will be retimed, and will run earlier between Ramsgate and Dover Priory. There are no changes to trains in the opposite direction, from London St Pancras International to Ramsgate via Dover Priory.
Paddock Wood line: Trains from Dover Priory to London Charing Cross will leave Dover Priory 2 minutes earlier. Off-peak trains from London Charing Cross to Dover Priory will not stop at Folkestone West.

Engineering work is taking place at various locations on the Southeastern network, closing some lines overnight from Monday to Thursday.
These changes may be subject to further alteration on some days, such as starting earlier, or not taking place at all. Please check your journey using the Journey Planner, and also check other items on our engineering pages for the date of your journey.
Mondays only:
Every Monday night, Network Rail carry out essential maintenance on the lines between Ashford International and Ramsgate via Canterbury West.
From 23:50 until the end of service, buses replace trains between Ashford International and Canterbury West / Ramsgate.
Mondays and Tuesdays:
Every Monday and Tuesday night, Network Rail carry out essential maintenance on the lines to and from London Charing Cross.
There will be no trains at London Charing Cross or Waterloo East from approximately 23:30 until the end of service.
Trains will run from London Cannon Street instead, and you will need to travel to / from London Cannon Street / London Bridge.
Tuesdays only:
Every Tuesday night, Network Rail carry out essential maintenance on the lines between Faversham and Ramsgate via Margate.
From 23:30 until the end of service, buses replace trains between Faversham and Margate / Ramsgate.
Wednesdays and Thursdays:
Every Wednesday and Thursday night, Network Rail carry out essential maintenance on the lines to / from London Cannon Street.
There will be no trains at London Cannon Street from approximately 23:35 until the end of service.
Trains will run to / from London Charing Cross instead, if you could please make your way to London Bridge for these trains.

From 23:00 until the end of service, you can use London Underground between Charing Cross, Embankment, Cannon Street, London Bridge, Southwark and Waterloo at no extra cost.
