Our Flexi Season ticket gives you more ticket choice and could work if you plan to commute more than once a week.
Flexi Season will give you 8 days of travel in 28 days – any time between two stations. You’ll get 8 undated one day passes, giving you total freedom to choose when you travel.
Flexi Season is available as an sTicket or on our contactless smartcard, The Key.
Is Flexi Season the right ticket for me?
Depending on how regularly you’ll be travelling, our Flexi Season ticket could be the right ticket for you. Our new Season Ticket Calculator will help you find the best value ticket for your journey, if you are planning to travel regularly on weekdays during peak times. Simply enter your journey details and it will search for the best value ticket.
Our Season Ticket Calculator is only able to sell one ticket at a time so you may need to buy multiple tickets to get the best value for money. If you’re logged in to your Southeastern account you can favourite your ticket, allowing you to quickly buy it again.
Total period costPlease note annual leave is not factored in to the calculation of the Total period cost. Customers travelling 3 days per weekIf you are travelling 3 days per week, you will need more than one Flexi Season ticket in a month. Flexi Season tickets are valid for up to 28 days, so any days travel unused can be used in the following calendar month. This may not be clear in the Season Ticket Calculator results when a 3 day per week work pattern is selected for an odd number of months (i.e. 1, 3, 5 etc). For a comparable Cost per day, please select an even (i.e. 2, 4, 6 etc) number of months. |
Step 3:
Buy Flexi Season using the Southeastern app, instantly load on to your Key by simply holding your card onto the back of your phone. For details on device compatibility, please see below.
Step 4:
Before you travel, all you have to do is activate a day's Flexi Season pass using the Southeastern app. Go to the 'Tickets' section, then 'View card contents' and press the 'Activate' button on your selected journey and hold or scan your smartcard to the back of your phone again
If you do have a Key card, buy your Flexi Season ticket today. You can easily buy Flexi Season tickets on our website or via our Southeastern app and load to your Key card. They are also available at Southeastern ticket offices or ticket vending machines outside London.
Before you travel, all you have to do is activate a day’s Flexi Season pass using the Southeastern app. Remember to activate before each of your 8 days of travel.
If you forget to do this, you can activate Flexi Season passes on a gateline reader at the station (if available) or seek out a member of staff who can activate it for you.
We recommend you buy your next Flexi Season ticket after you’ve used all 8 days of travel on your active ticket. If you do need to buy another Flexi Season ticket before finishing your active ticket, you must ensure the start date of your next Flexi Season ticket is after the date you intend to use your 8th day of travel.
Where can I travel with a Flexi Season ticket?
You can travel with a Flexi Season ticket between two stations of your choice. These can be for stations that are both located outside the London Travelcard Zones, or from a station outside the London Travelcard Zones to anywhere within the zones, for example, Tonbridge to Lewisham or London Terminals.
Flexi Season tickets are not available for journeys between two stations within the London Travelcard Zones 1-9, for example Bromley South to London Terminals, or for journeys that include Travelcard add ons.

Loading, viewing and activating tickets on The Key
If you’re having trouble loading and viewing your Key smartcard ticket, or activating your Flexi Season ticket, please check the following:
- It can take up to 5 minutes for a recently purchased ticket to become available to load. In some cases, it may take up to 15 minutes.
- Make sure your device supports NFC – we use NFC to load and view your Key smartcard.
- If you’re using an Android device, check NFC is switched on. If you’re using an iOS device, check if Apple Pay is working and that your device is running iOS 13 or later.
- Hold your Key card against the upper back of your phone for 20 seconds – you may need to slowly move the card to find the NFC reader.
- Try closing the Southeastern app and opening it again.
