Restored Edwin Lutyens & Gertrude Jekyll Gardens at the Salutation are a gardener's delight. They have recently undergone major restoration and re-planting to reinstate them to their former glory. Hidden behind the town's city walls, the sheltered spot encourages blooms. It's also an ideal location for afternoon cream tea.
Visit Sandwich Guildhall, built during the reign of Elizabeth I, for a tour including the ancient Court Room and Council Chamber. There's also a small local history museum and the Tourist Information office.
