In May 2019 Curious Brewing, the beer and cider producing arm of Chapel Down opened their state-of-the art, multi-million pound ‘cathedral of brewing’. Located in the centre of Ashford, just 5 minute walk from Ashford International train station. Visitors can taste Curious in the bar, enjoy delicious food from Kent in the restaurant overlooking the brewery hall or book a tour of the cathedral of brewing and explore the craft of premium beer, followed by a tasting session.

WW1 MK IV Tank
A poignant reminder of the town’s history and sacrifice is found just around the corner from the High Street. Presented to the town in 1919 in recognition for its fundraising efforts to the National War Savings appeal, the tank was one of 1,220 others built for combat during WWI; it is now one of the remaining few in existence.
Ashford Borough Museum
Celebrating Ashford’s railway heritage, the Ashford Borough Museum is in the heart of Ashford’s town centre within a 17th century Grade II listed building. The museum not only covers the history of the railway but also documents the history of the areas as far back in time as the Neolithic and Prehistoric times.
