You can get at least a third off standard fares with a railcard. Take a look at the table to see which one suits you best. 

Oyster cards

If you’ve linked your railcard to your Oyster card, you’ll get a 34% discount on the off-peak daily price cap. For details, see Transport for London.

Gold Cards

If you have an Annual Gold Card you can buy one of the following yearly railcards for just £10, either for yourself or someone else: 16-25 Railcard, Family and Friends Railcard, Network Railcard, Senior Railcard, and Two Together Railcard.

What do you get with this Railcard?

1/3 off UK rail fares for leisure journeys across Britain.

 

Who's eligible?

People aged between 26-30.

Only available to buy online at Network Railcards.

Network Railcard

How much does it cost?

£30 for 1 year.

 

What do you get with this Railcard?

1/3 off adult fares and 60% off child fares in London and the South East.

You can use it on most fares in the Network Railcard area. It can also save you money on trips to and around London.

 

Who's eligible?

Anyone over 16 in the Network Railcard area.  Up to three adults travelling with the cardholder will also get 1/3 off their fare. You can take up to four children (aged 5 to 15) with you and save 60% on each child fare.

Only available to buy online at Network Railcards.

16-25 Railcard

How much does it cost?

£30 for 1 year. 

£70 for 3 years.

  

What do you get with this Railcard?

1/3 off UK rail fares including all standard and first class Advance Tickets.

 

Who's eligible?

People aged 16-25 or over 26 and in full-time education.

Online at National Railcards or at a ticket office.

Friends & Family Railcard

How much does it cost?

£30 for 1 year.

£70 for 3 years.

 

What do you get with this Railcard?

1/3 off rail fares for up to 4 adults, and 60% off for up to 4 children between 5 and 15, in London and the South East.

You can use it on most fares in the Network Railcard area. It can also save you money on trips to and around London.

Who's eligible?

Two adults are named as cardholders. While they don’t have to travel together, they do need to be travelling with at least one child between 5 and 15 to get the discount. In total, up to 4 adults and 4 children can travel on the Railcard – and you don’t all need to be related.

Two together Railcard
