Do I need a ticket to travel?

Yes, you must have a valid ticket or permit to travel for your journey.
 
It's easy to buy a ticket before you get to the station. You can buy train tickets from any staffed ticket office or machine, or buy a train ticket online.

You can choose to travel to almost anywhere in Great Britain, with free delivery and no booking fees on your tickets.

Could a Season Ticket save me money?

Yes, if you make the same peak time journey three times a week or more. How much will a Season Ticket save me?

You can choose from a Weekly, Monthly or Annual Season Ticket. Annual Ticket holders get extra rewards and discounts too with a Gold Card. Find out more about Southeastern Season Tickets.

At what age does a child have to pay the adult fare?

From their 16th birthday children start paying the adult fare. If you’re under 16 but you look older, you may want to carry some proof of age in case you’re asked. 
 
If your child is over 16 and still at school or college, your local authority may offer a concessionary travel scheme with reduced fares.
 
If you’re in full-time education, the 16-25 Railcard is a great way to save money on your train fares.
 

What time do station ticket offices open?

Can I park my car at the station?

Many of our stations have car parks. For information and to buy online season permits or daily/weekly e-tickets go to the Southeastern parking website. You'll also be able to see the charges for each car park.

Our car parks are managed by Indigo except Ebbsfleet International station. You can visit ebbsfleetintl.co.uk/parking for information and online booking there.
