Trains to Greenwich

Greenwich lies on the banks of the River Thames and is inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site due to its historic town centre, the Royal Park and the collection of significant buildings, including the Royal Observatory, the Queen’s House and the Old Royal Naval College.

Stroll through the Park for stunning views of the London skyline and visit the Royal Observatory, home of Greenwich Mean Time and the Prime Meridian of the world – you can stand on the Meridian Line! Visit the National Maritime Museum, the magnificent Painted Hall, step aboard Cutty Sark, or shop for unique arts and crafts and delicious food at Greenwich Market. With 8.5 miles of open river front, there’s plenty to explore both on and off the water too. Take in the views on a leisurely stroll or relax on a boat trip and take in the sights from a new perspective.

Eltham Palace & Gardens is a real hidden gem and just a 10-minute walk from Mottingham station. Explore this stunning Art Deco mansion and the surrounding 19 acres of award-winning gardens.
