Paper Season Tickets

Got a question about our paper Season Tickets?

A Season ticket gives you unlimited travel between the stations on it for the given route for the whole validity period. We have Weekly Season tickets for seven days, Monthly Season tickets for a full calendar month, and Annual Season tickets for a full year of travel.

There are also Season tickets for custom periods between one and ten months. These are particularly useful for school terms. Paper Season tickets come on card-sized coupons with magnetic strips on the back.

You need a photocard ID in order to use a Season ticket, as set out in the National Rail Conditions of Travel. Without the photocard, the Season ticket isn't valid, and you could be liable to be issued with a Penalty Fare Notice.

Photocards are free when buying a Season ticket from one of our ticket offices. You'll need to bring a passport-style photo of yourself. If you're buying a Season ticket online, you'll need to get a photocard from the station first.

We offer the following:

  • Weekly Season tickets
  • Monthly Season tickets
  • Custom Period Season tickets between one and ten months
  • Annual Season tickets

You can also get Child Season tickets at approximately half the standard price.

For more information on each, please visit our Season Ticket page.

Please make sure you buy a Daily ticket to cover your travel for the day. Where possible, please buy this from Southeastern.

On the first occasion, we’ll be happy to arrange a refund on this extra ticket. On the second occasion, within 12 months of the first, an administration fee of £5 will be charged. Any further claims won’t be considered within a 12-month period.

If the ticket was bought from one of our ticket offices, please apply for a refund there. Alternatively, you can apply for your refund by contacting Customer Services.

If you've lost your Season ticket, and it was bought from Southeastern, please visit one of our ticket offices as soon as possible to apply for a duplicate.

If your ticket's been stolen, and it was bought from Southeastern, please be sure to report it to the Police. You can then visit a Southeastern ticket office to apply for a duplicate. Please be sure to include your crime reference number.

Please note that we don't offer duplicates for Weekly Season tickets.

If your paper Season ticket is damaged, or has worn out and faded, please visit a Southeastern ticket office where it can be replaced for you. This is a free service.
