Advance & other Daily ticket refunds

Find out when and how you can apply for paper Daily ticket refunds...

Advance tickets are non-refundable.

However, fee-free refunds may be available if the service an Advance ticket was booked on has been cancelled due to industrial action, or if you abandon your journey due to service disruption. You can apply for this refund for Advance tickets bought through Southeastern at Customer Services. For Advance tickets not bought through Southeastern, please contact your original retalier.
Off-peak and Super Off-Peak tickets are non-amendable. If you'd like to make changes to your journey, you'd need to apply for a refund on the original and purchase a new ticket for your journey. You have a period of 28 days after the date of travel to apply for any refund.

If you purchased your original ticket online, it has not been printed and you would like to apply for a refund, please sign into your online account, go to 'my bookings', view the booking in question and follow the refund procedure from there.

If your ticket was purchased online or at a station and it has been printed, we would ask that you post them to our Customer Services team at the address below:

Southeastern Customer Services
PO Box 8625
Swadlincote
DE11 1HZ

Please note if the refund is requested before the date of travel printed on the ticket, we will refund in full and no admin fees apply. If the refund is requested on or after the date of travel printed on the ticket, a £5 admin fee applies.

Please read each numbered explanation and follow the steps in the explanation that best relates to you.
