Q: What free things are there to do with kids on the Southeastern network?

There’s plenty of free ways to entertain you and the kids only a stone’s throw from one of our Southeastern stations. Here’s some things to do on our network .

Q: How do I know if there is a toilet on my train?

Live information on on-board toilets is now available through our Southeastern app .

Q: Which stations have stairs?

We understand if you’re travelling with a pram/buggy it’s helpful to know which stations have stairs. We’re working to have all our stations step-free. You can check your station information page for you local station.

Q: The lift isn't working at my station, will I get help with going up or down the stairs with my buggy?

Our employees will always try to help you. If they can assist, you’ll usually be asked to carry your child while we’ll carry your pram. Please note we can’t guarantee help will be available.

Q: Are there any ways I can entertain my kids when travelling on Southeastern trains?

Absolutely! We understand little ones can be restless on a long journey. You can download and print some free Southeastern train-themed activity pages or connect to our free WiFi when your on board our trains.

Q: We are a large group travelling with children. Are there any discounts available, who do I contact?

If you're planning on travelling Off-Peak in a group of 10 or more, which can include children up to the age of 17 inclusive, you could save with our Group Travel discount .

I'm pregnant what can you do to make my journey more comfortable?

Don’t be left standing on a packed train. If you’re pregnant, you can get a free Baby on Board badge to let everyone know you need a seat.

Applying is easy. Just request a badge using our online feedback form, or give our Customer Services team a call on 0345 322 7021 and they’ll be happy to put one in the post for you.

Pregnant passengers also meet the criteria for a Priority Seating card.

This card can be shown to fellow passengers who are sitting in a priority seat and gives them priority over non-card holders.
