Imagine knowing hundreds of thousands of people are getting to work on time because of your quick thinking and attention to detail. Imagine families setting off on a fun day out because you kept them up to date about the train they’re boarding. Imagine the pride you’ll feel every day as a member of our KICC team.
Monitor our train services and minimise the impact of disruption, supporting our 500,000 passengers get to where they need to be every day.
The KICC is the heartbeat of our operation, responsible for keeping our trains and timetable on track 24 hours a day. Our KICC team is made up of a variety of roles. This includes Train Service Managers who monitor our train service in real time, making sure that the service runs on time and deciding the best course of action when things go wrong.
You might be an Information Delivery Team Member, looking after our customers on social media and delivering information in real-time through our multiple channels.
Or you could be a Resource Manager, overseeing the day-to-day activities of train crew and ensuring all duties are covered to keep our services running smoothly.
Whichever role you do, it’s about working with the rest of our multi-talented team to achieve the exceptionally high standards we set ourselves.
It’s likely you’ll work a varied shift pattern, which may include weekends, bank holidays and nights. However, many of our people really value the time this gives them outside of work. They’re able to switch off the moment they finish their shift and focus on spending time with family, friends, or doing other things they love.
On top of that, you’ll get job security, lots of long-term career opportunities and great rewards. Check out the benefits you could get.
