The Great British Rail Sale has now ended!

Southeastern and other train companies across England and Wales worked together to offer up to 50% off Advance tickets on selected journeys. Off Peak tickets were offered as an alternative with some other participating train companies. Southeastern Great British Rail sale tickets were on sale between 23 January and 29 January 2024 with a travel period between 1 February and 15 March 2024.

Advance tickets are non-refundable. However, fee-free refunds may be available if the service an Advance ticket was booked on has been cancelled due to strikes or industrial action, or if you abandon your journey due to service disruption.

You can apply for this refund for Advance tickets bought through Southeastern from our Customer Services team. For Advance tickets not bought through Southeastern, please contact your original retailer or visit the train companies’ website for further information.

If your journey with Southeastern was disrupted by 15 minutes or more, you can apply for Delay Repay. You can find information on our Delay Repay page.

If you have an Advance ticket for a train that’s a strike day, you can either apply for a full refund with no admin fee please visit our strike refund page for more information or return it to the original retailer where you got your ticket for an eVoucher, to purchase a future ticket. eVouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of issue. If you have two Advance tickets (an outbound and a return), to be used as a return journey, and either of the legs is on a strike day, you can claim a fee-free refund or change of journey for any unused legs / tickets.
