Various Southeastern routes

Engineering work is taking place overnight at various locations on the Southeastern network, closing some lines.

Monday only:

• From 22:45 until the end of service, accessible buses replace trains between Tonbridge and Wadhurst / Hastings

Monday to Thursday:

• From 23:15 until the end of service, accessible buses replace trains between Maidstone East and Ashford International
• The 22:25 and 23:25 London Victoria to Ashford International services will be diverted between Otford and Ashford International to run via Sevenoaks. Change at Otford for a connecting service to Maidstone East, and the onward replacement bus for stations to Ashford International
• The 00:25 London Victoria to Ashford International service will only run between London Victoria and Maidstone East
• Trains between London Charing Cross / London Cannon Street and Maidstone East will stop additionally at Kemsing, East Malling and Barming

Monday, Wednesday and Thursday:

• From 23:20 until the end of service, accessible buses replace trains between Sittingbourne and Sheerness-on-Sea
• The 23:20 and 23:50 London St Pancras International to Faversham services will be replaced by accessible buses between Ebbsfleet International, Gillingham and Faversham calling at all stations except Higham, Newington amd Teynham

Tuesday only:

From 23:40 until the end of service accessible buses replace trains between Tunbridge Wells and Hastings and will run between:

• Tunbridge Wells and Hastings calling at Wadhurst, Battle, West St Leonards and St Leonards Warrior Square
• Tunbridge Wells and Robertsbridge (calling at all stations)
• Battle and Crowhurst

Tuesday to Friday:

• From 23:55 until the end of service, accessible buses replace trains between Beckenham Junction and Orpington calling at all stations

Tuesday, Thursday and Friday:

• From 00:10 until the end of service, accessible buses replace trains between Gillingham and Faversham calling at all stations except Teynham. A connecting train will run from Faversham to Ramsgate. A minibus will run between Sittingbourne and Teynham*

Wednesday and Thursday:

• The 23:07 London St Pancras International to Ramsgate via Dover Priory service will be replaced by an accessible bus between Dover Priory and Ramsgate calling at all stations except Thanet Parkway

Wednesday, Thursday and Friday:

• From 00:30 until the end of service, trains towards Orpington and Sevenoaks will not stop at Lewisham. An additional train to Lewisham will leave London Cannon Street at 00:57 (Wed) / London Charing Cross at 00:53 (Thu and Fri) and will run non-stop between London Bridge and Lewisham

Routes affected:
Southeastern services which run between Blackheath and Charlton

Engineering work is taking place on the Blackheath Tunnel, closing all lines between Blackheath and Charlton from Sunday 18 May until the end of the day on Sunday 27 July.

No trains will run between Blackheath and Charlton.

Most trains between Dartford and London Cannon Street via Woolwich Arsenal / Lewisham will be diverted to run via Greenwich, however at peak times some of these trains will be diverted to run via Bexleyheath.

There will be two trains per hour between Blackheath and London Cannon Street. At peak times some additional trains will run between Dartford and London Cannon Street via Bexleyheath. Alternative travel options:

You can use the following routes at no extra cost:

• London Bus routes 54 and 380 between Blackheath, Charlton and Woolwich, and between Charlton and Greenwich
• Docklands Light Railway between Lewisham and Greenwich
• You can also travel with your ticket at no extra cost between London Bridge and Dartford to make connections on the Woolwich and Bexleyheath lines, or towards Petts Wood, though a break of journey will not be possible at these points.

You can also use London Bus route SL3 between Abbey Wood, Bexleyheath and Sidcup railway stations but normal TfL fares will apply.

Docklands Light Railway will be closed on the following dates:

• Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 June
• Saturday 14 and Sunday 15 June
• Saturday 5 and Sunday 6 July
• Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 July
• Saturday 26 and Sunday 27 July

During the weekends affected, you will be able to use the DLR 4 bus replacement service between Greenwich and Lewisham at no extra cost.

Engineering work is taking place at various locations on the Southeastern network, closing some lines overnight from Monday to Thursday. 

These changes may be subject to further alteration on some days, such as starting earlier, or not taking place at all. Please check your journey using the Journey Planner, and also check other items on our engineering pages for the date of your journey.

Mondays only:

Every Monday night, Network Rail carry out essential maintenance on the lines between Ashford International and Ramsgate via Canterbury West.

From 23:50 until the end of service, buses replace trains between Ashford International and Canterbury West / Ramsgate. 

Mondays and Tuesdays:

Every Monday and Tuesday night, Network Rail carry out essential maintenance on the lines to and from London Charing Cross.  

There will be no trains at London Charing Cross or London Waterloo East from approximately 23:30 until the end of service. 

Trains will run from London Cannon Street instead, and you will need to travel to / from London Cannon Street / London Bridge. 

Tuesdays only:

Every Tuesday night, Network Rail carry out essential maintenance on the lines between Faversham and Ramsgate via Margate.  

From 23:30 until the end of service, buses replace trains between Faversham and Margate / Ramsgate. 

Wednesdays and Thursdays:

Every Wednesday and Thursday night, Network Rail carry out essential maintenance on the lines to / from London Cannon Street.

There will be no trains at London Cannon Street from approximately 23:35 until the end of service. 

Trains will run to / from London Charing Cross instead, if you could please make your way to London Bridge for these trains.

Monday to Thursday only:

From 23:00 until the end of service, you can use London Underground between Charing Cross, Embankment, Cannon Street, London Bridge, Southwark and Waterloo at no extra cost.
