Engineering work over Easter

Most of our lines are open during the Easter weekend but Network Rail is carrying out engineering work on some parts of our route. You can find out more details on our engineering work page.

Buses will replace trains between Herne Bay and Ramsgate for track replacement. 

A summary is set out below and journey planners have been updated. Please check before you travel.

Our normal Saturday timetable will be in use except for engineering work.

Buses will replace trains between:

  • Herne Bay and Ramsgate
  • Orpington and Tonbridge

Easter Sunday 5 April

Our normal Sunday timetable will be in use except for engineering work.

Buses will replace trains between:

  • Herne Bay and Ramsgate
  • Orpington and Tonbridge
  • Ashford International and Dover Priory
  • Barnehurst/Crayford and Dartford
  • Slade Green and Gravesend
  • Lewisham and Hayes
