Winter Weather Timetables
This winter, we’ll be running a Winter Weather Timetable but only on days when we expect ice and light snow which freezes around the electric rail, preventing trains from drawing power or being able to move with any speed. And in the worst cases, preventing them from being able to move at all.
When this timetable is in place train times will be different, trains won’t split or attach so you may need to change trains, and Peak trains will be busier. Please travel earlier or later to avoid busiest Peak trains.
We aim to give you a minimum of 24 hours’ notice on our website that the timetable will change. But we’ll also let you know that we may be changing the timetable 4 days’ in advance if we can, to give you time to plan.
Winter Weather Timetable 1 - London and Tonbridge to Ashford International, Canterbury West, Folkestone, Dover, Ramsgate and Margate
Winter Weather Timetable 2 - London to Medway Towns, Sittingbourne, Sheerness-on-Sea, Faversham, Dover and Ramsgate
Winter Weather Timetable 3 - London to Ashford International and Canterbury West via Maidstone East. Strood to Maidstone West, Paddock Wood and Tonbridge
Winter Weather Timetable 4 - London to Sevenoaks, Tonbridge, Tunbridge Wells, Battle and Hastings
Winter Weather Timetable 5 - London to Dartford, Gravesend and The Medway Towns
Winter Weather Timetable 6 - London to Catford Bridge, Elmers End and Hayes. London to Bromley North, Orpington and Sevenoaks via Grove Park
Winter Weather Timetable 7 - London to Bromley South, Orpington and Sevenoaks via Herne Hill and Catford
Winter Weather Timetable 8 - High speed services - St Pancras International to Ashford International
Sometimes mother nature has other ideas and the weather changes from the forecast which means we may need to change this planned timetable. We’ll do all we can to keep you up-to-date.
