What's happened?
A person has been hit by a train and trains are currently unable to run between Faversham and Rochester.
How does this affect my journey?
Trains are currently unable to run through the affected area. The line is currently blocked. Trains may be diverted via alternate routes where possible or altered at short notice. Emergency services are enroute.
What should I do?
Please allow more time to complete your journey.
Replacement buses will run between Faversham and Rochester.
You may use your ticket, at no extra cost between London Terminals on London Underground.

Thameslink customer advice
Some trains will be cancelled or delayed in the area, and others will finish their journeys at Gillingham, instead of proceeding through to Rainham.
Thameslink advise you to leave at least 60 minutes longer than usual for journeys in this area. It is likely you will need to use an alternative route.

101 between Rainham and Chatham
190 between Chatham and Gravesend
Further afield, you can also use:
- London Buses on any reasonable route between Dartford and Central London
- Docklands Light Railway services between the Woolwich area or Greenwich and Central London
- Elizabeth line services between Abbey Wood and Farringdon
