Strike action on Tuesday 7 May.
Most of our routes and stations will be closed. There will be an extremely limited service where trains are running. Our advice to customers is to only travel if absolutely necessary.
If you do travel, expect severe disruption, plan ahead and allow much more time for your journey.
Trains that are running could be extremely busy, they start later and finish early.
You may be unable to board trains at some stations, and there could be queues.Online journey planners are up-to-date.
If the strike action is cancelled at short notice, we may not be able to switch back to our full timetable immediately.

All routes via Rochester
Engineering work is taking place between Sole Street and Rainham, and between Strood and Rainham all day, closing some lines.
Southeastern:
Sole Street Line: Trains between London Victoria and Ramsgate / Dover Priory via Chatham will only run between London Victoria and Sole Street. Additional trains will run between Rainham and Ramsgate / Dover Priory.
Highspeed via Gravesend: Trains between London St Pancras International and Ramsgate via Faversham will only run between London St Pancras International and Strood.
Sheerness Line: Trains between Sittingbourne and Sheerness-on-Sea will be retimed.
Sidcup Line: Trains between London Charing Cross and Gravesend via Sidcup will not run. Services which usually only run between London Charing Cross and Dartford via Sidcup will stop additionally at Albany Park and will be extended to run to / from Strood.
Accessible replacement buses will run between:
- Meopham and Rainham calling at all stations except Sole Street.
- Strood and Rainham calling at all stations.
Thameslink:
No trains will run between Gravesend and Rainham. An amended services will run between Luton and Gravesend.

Between London Charing Cross and Hastings / Dover Priory / Ramsgate
Engineering work is taking place at Tonbridge, closing all lines.
Hastings Line: Trains between London Charing Cross and Hastings will only run between London Charing Cross and Sevenoaks. Additional trains will run between Tunbridge Wells and Hastings.
Paddock Wood Line: Trains between London Charing Cross and Ramsgate / Dover Priory via Tonbridge will run hourly, and be diverted between London Bridge and Ashford International to run via Maidstone East calling additionally at Otford (for connections to / from Sevenoaks) and Maidstone East. At Ashford International, the train will divide and one portion of coaches will run between Ashford International and Ramsgate via Canterbury West, and the other portion will run between Ashford International and Dover Priory via Folkestone Central.
Additional trains will run between Paddock Wood and Ashford International.
Accessible replacement buses will run between:
- Sevenoaks and Paddock Wood calling at Tonbridge only.
- Sevenoaks and Tunbridge Wells calling at all stations.

Routes affected:
Between London St Pancras International and Ramsgate via Dover Priory, and also between London Charing Cross and Dover Priory
Network Rail monitoring equipment has detected ground movement affecting the line between Dover Priory and Folkestone following the wettest February for 200 years. Regular checks are being carried out on the line and a temporary speed restriction is in place. Southeastern have made some limited service changes to provide you with a reliable and robust train service while Network Rail assess the work needed. Trains will be amended as follows:
Highspeed via Ashford International: Trains from Ramsgate to London St Pancras International via Dover Priory will be retimed, and will run earlier between Ramsgate and Dover Priory. There are no changes to trains in the opposite direction, from London St Pancras International to Ramsgate via Dover Priory.
Paddock Wood line: Trains from Dover Priory to London Charing Cross will leave Dover Priory 2 minutes earlier. Off-peak trains from London Charing Cross to Dover Priory will not stop at Folkestone West.

Various Southeastern routes
Engineering work is taking place at various locations on the Southeastern network, closing some lines overnight from Monday to Thursday.
These changes may be subject to further alteration on some days, such as starting earlier, or not taking place at all. Please check your journey using the Journey Planner, and also check other items on our engineering pages for the date of your journey.
Mondays only:
Every Monday night, Network Rail carry out essential maintenance on the lines between Ashford International and Ramsgate via Canterbury West.
From 23:50 until the end of service, buses replace trains between Ashford International and Canterbury West / Ramsgate.
Mondays and Tuesdays:
Every Monday and Tuesday night, Network Rail carry out essential maintenance on the lines to and from London Charing Cross.
There will be no trains at London Charing Cross or Waterloo East from approximately 23:30 until the end of service.
Trains will run from London Cannon Street instead, and you will need to travel to / from London Cannon Street / London Bridge.
Tuesdays only:
Every Tuesday night, Network Rail carry out essential maintenance on the lines between Faversham and Ramsgate via Margate.
From 23:30 until the end of service, buses replace trains between Faversham and Margate / Ramsgate.
Wednesdays and Thursdays:
Every Wednesday and Thursday night, Network Rail carry out essential maintenance on the lines to / from London Cannon Street.
There will be no trains at London Cannon Street from approximately 23:35 until the end of service.
Trains will run to / from London Charing Cross instead, if you could please make your way to London Bridge for these trains.

Monday to Thursday:
From 23:00 until the end of service, you can use London Underground between Charing Cross, Embankment, Cannon Street, London Bridge, Southwark and Waterloo at no extra cost.
