More services and new journey opportunities for many stations
New Thameslink connections from London Bridge every few minutes to Blackfriars, City Thameslink, Farringdon and St Pancras
New direct Thameslink services from some Southeastern stations

The stations which will see the most significant changes are detailed below -

Ashford International

Bromley South, Bickley

Charlton, Woolwich Arsenal, Plumstead, Abbey Wood, Slade Green

8 trains per hour all day (6 on Sundays) with a choice of destinations.
Direct train services to more Central London stations -
4 trains per hour to Cannon Street (2 on Sundays)
2 trains per hour to Charing Cross
2 Thameslink trains per hour to Blackfriars, City Thameslink, Farringdon, St Pancras and Luton Airport.
Change at London Bridge for connections to Waterloo East and Charing Cross.

Dartford

Fastest journey time to Charing Cross will be 38 minutes (was 46).
Direct train services to more destinations -
2 trains per hour run by Thameslink to Blackfriars, City Thameslink, Farringdon, St Pancras and Luton Airport.
At peak times there will still be direct trains to Cannon Street. Off-Peak, change at London Bridge for connections to and from Cannon Street.

Deptford, Greenwich, Maze Hill, Westcombe Park

Ebbsfleet International

Gravesend

8 trains per hour Off-Peak instead of 6 (including 2 Highspeed services to St Pancras).
Faster off-peak journey times to Charing Cross
Direct train services to more destinations
Direct services to Victoria and Denmark Hill (for King’s College Hospital).
2 trains per hour run by Thameslink to Blackfriars, City Thameslink, Farringdon, St Pancras and Luton Airport.

Greenhithe

6 trains per hour Off-Peak instead of 4

Stone Crossing

4 trains per hour Off-Peak instead of 2

Planning a journey or buying a ticket in advance?

Network Rail has made a temporary change to how far in advance it confirms rail timetables. This is a national issue, and the majority of journeys are unaffected. More detailed information is available here.

In a small number of cases the timetable will not be confirmed until less than the usual 12-weeks before travel. Wherever possible. we've highlighted those journeys yet to be confirmed in our journey planner.

You can still book tickets in advance, and our Advance fares are available up until 6pm on the day before travel. If you buy an Advance ticket for a train that is subsequently changed or cancelled, we will refund you. Check before you travel by using our journey planner, National Rail Enquiries or download our On Track app for the most up-to-date information.

Ticket acceptance

Travelling to Farringdon or St Pancras

If you hold a ticket that's valid to 'London terminals' but not valid on our High speed services, you can use this northwards as far as City Thameslink.

Only tickets to London Terminals that are valid on High speed services to St Pancras can be used to travel between St Pancras, Farringdon and City Thameslink.

If you hold a 'London terminals' season ticket, not valid on High speed, and wish to travel to Farringdon or St Pancras, you'll need to exchange your ticket*.

If you hold a daily ticket, you'll need to buy a ticket between City Thameslink and St Pancras.

*Season tickets can be exchange at any station along the line of route, and any difference in cost will be charged (or refunded) except for those tickets issued under a corporate scheme which will need to be exchanged at the original point of sale.
