Book early for cheaper fares, plus there are no booking fees when you book direct with Southeastern. You can book with confidence too, because if things change for any reason, we’ve got you covered. You can make changes fee-free, up to 6pm the day before you travel.*
Our Advance tickets are a great way to get out and about for less, helping you explore the city sights of London to the rolling hills and award-winning Kent coastline this summer. Advance tickets are available as single tickets at specific times and on selected routes across our network. Don't forget if you're making a return journey, you’ll need to buy a ticket for each direction.
We know that plans can change for any reason and that’s why our Book with Confidence policy takes that stress away. You can make changes to your Advance ticket fee-free, up to 6pm the day before you travel. You'll need to stick to the same departure and arrival stations, but you do have the flexibility to change the date and time. This is available for travel up to 30 September 2022. Your new booking can be for travel beyond this date.
You can also apply for an e-voucher to the value of your original Advance ticket up to 6pm the day before you travel – handy if you don’t know the date and time you’d like to change your ticket to.

*Choice of stations must remain the same. If there is a difference between the price of your original Advance ticket and the cost of your new Advance ticket, you will need to pay the difference.
If you change to a train on which a cheaper fare is available, the difference will not be refunded. Changes must be made before 30 September 2022 and can be used for future journeys within 12 months. If you change your booking after 6pm the day before you travel, there will be a £10 admin fee.
