New lifts are being installed at Bargoed. The work starts on 19 April 2021 for a period of approximately 13 weeks. There will be no lifts available at Bargoed until the work is completed.
Platform 1 (to Rhymney) is accessible from St Gwladys Way via a footpath and stairs (or lift until 18 April).
Platform 2 (to Cardiff) is accessible from the station car park on Station Road.
A footbridge (with lifts until 18 April) connects both platforms.
The ticket machine(s) do not accept cash. Payment is by major debit and credit cards only.
