On rare occasions, such as when there’s a heavy fall of snow and icy freezing weather conditions, Southeastern is instructed by Network Rail to introduce a Temporary Timetable.
So we’ve created temporary timetables for our Mainline (London to Kent and Sussex Coasts) and Metro (south east London) services.
As part of our contingency planning we have recognised that on occasions our Metro services will not be affected in the same way as our Mainline and High Speed services. Therefore we have developed two temporary timetables, Plan A and Plan B, to meet these scenarios.
Plan A provides temporary timetables for when services are disrupted affecting both Metro and Mainline & High Speed
Plan B provides temporary timetables for when services are disrupted and affects just Mainline & High Speed (in this scenario the normal Metro service will continue to run).
