We’re sorry for disruption to train services on the Hastings line
Fixing the damage caused to embankments by landslips on Tuesday 17 December and Sunday 22 December near Wadhurst tunnel will take Network Rail several weeks.
A revised weekday timetable will operate from Monday 13 January to minimise further disruption to passengers. This timetable will remain in place until Network Rail engineers are able to make the embankment safe for Southeastern to run trains at normal speed.
Some early morning weekday services on the Hastings line to London will start a few minutes earlier. Some stops will also be removed to help make up time due to the speed restrictions. Service starting from Tunbridge Wells are unaffected.
Please check for changes to your services before you travel, You can download the timetables here or plan your journey from National Rail Enquiries.
We’re sorry for the disruption this has caused and we’re working as fast as we can to get services back to normal. Thank you for your patience.
