A new Southeastern train timetable will come into effect this Sunday, 20 May 2012. The changes have been developed to improve connection times and overall train performance.
The most notable change is to services operating to and from London Victoria and London Blackfriars stations; between Grove Park and Bromley North; and to weekend Metro services. This follows the reopening of London Blackfriars station.
There are also some smaller changes designed to improve punctuality which may mean some services departing earlier or later than the current timetable.
Key changes to the timetable:
- London Victoria/Sevenoaks via Catford and Bat & Ball services will operate out of London Blackfriars Monday to Friday in the evening, Saturday and also all day on Sunday
- Three additional evening services are being introduced between St Mary Cray and Sevenoaks via Bat & Ball every Monday to Sunday
- Train services between Grove Park, Sundridge Park and Bromley North have been retimed to give better connections at Grove Park during Monday to Friday evening peak periods
- Some Metro services will benefit from additional carriages at weekends
The new 2012 timetable will operate from Sunday 20 May to Saturday 8 December 2012.
